PHP Weblog

One of my forays into the combination of programming and webdesign.

This project was implemented and completed in my spare time. I decided to create a webpage system useing the PHP html preprocessing language and combining it with the MySQL database language, both languages I had never used previously, in order to create a "Weblog" or "Blog" site, such as those that have become popular these days.

The program was implemented in a relatively short time, and went live shortly after. I also wanted to test my abilty to "update" the site on the fly, so I made a system that would allow the webpage to be updated without working with any of the underlying code. Next, I started a comment handling system which was left incomplete as I had reached my target.
